Ranks, medals and experience

Every match counts. Climb the ranked ladder, earn medals and badges, gain experience for the countries you play and build a skirmish rank against bots.

30-tier ranked ladder

Online ranked matches move your rating. After 10 placement matches you receive a rank: five divisions each of Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond, three of Master, then Grandmaster and Elite at the very top of the leaderboard. Division V is the lowest of a metal, I the highest.

Ranked seasons last a few months. At the start of a new season ratings are softly reset and your final rank of the season earns its rewards.

Experience points (XP)

  • Every online match earns XP for the country you played: a win earns more than a loss, with bonuses for performance and medals.
  • A share of every award also goes to free XP, which you can spend on any country.
  • Skirmish against bots earns XP at a reduced rate.
  • Spend XP to unlock elite units in your country's tech tree, tier by tier.
  • Gold can top up missing XP or unlock an elite unit directly.
  • Anti-farm rules: no XP from very short or bot-only matches, or from too many matches against the same opponent.

Elite tech trees

Skirmish rank

Battles against bots have their own casual rank on the same 30 tiers, shown with a skirmish frame in the Skirmish rank tab of your profile. It never changes your online rating, matchmaking or leaderboards.

Mastery

Play a unit to raise its mastery and earn free finishes for it: Weathered Metal, Field Camouflage and Elite Finish.

Honors

Honors are service recognitions granted by the ARENIZ team.
